High brightness spectrally filtered SLD‐based light sources
High brightness spectrally filtered (HBSF) series of SLD‐based light sources has been specifically designed for interferometric applications where the spectral width of conventional superluminescent diodes is too wide, but the linewidth of lasers is too narrow. Instead, a spectral width in the range of one or a few nanometers would be ideal for these applications.
